Holy fuck, just look at Freddy's face.

That said, I can't act like I'm sad the show is ending - it has been on life support for years now.

If he was not wearing a helmet then it's his fault and it's the crew behind it and Health and safety officers as well for being so negligent.

I would assume he was either filming low-speed/talking shots, or maybe just trying the car out, seeing how it feels. The car has 3 fucking wheels, what can you do.

If he was driving slowly and filming in slow speed, there is no reason for a helmet. As stated, you don't legally need one to drive it. It was a private track. The car was mechanically fine. So, in my understanding, it's just a pure (and very VERY unfortunate) accident. I don't think anyone is liable here.

Looks like Grand Tour is also ending too.

Yup, read that as well. About time, really. Clarkson's and May's standalone series have been much better and more enjoyable than TGT. The Grand Tour has just been rehashing old Top Gear ideas, with not much ingenuity.

.

Even if the story sucks like the old one, I'll still going to watch it

You beat me to it. Nah man the old series was awesome! That original theme song was so awesome. I wish they had kept it.

I just watched The Grand Tour's latest episode, Sand Job.

To be honest, it's good this show is ending. This was just 2 hours and 15 minutes of nothing of substance happening whatsoever. Not the type to be expecting huge explosions or airplanes flying over helicopters flying over dirt bikes jumping over cars jumping over boats while all are simultaneously firing some sort of weapons at each other's direction. But this still doesn't match their best works. It's certainly ok, and definitely watchable. But nothing more. Their individual shows are so much more fun nowadays.

Imo it was a pretty good episode overall, though a bit empty given its over 2 hour runtime. I personally really enjoyed some of the old TG references (like 'cue the music'), but could've done a bit more with it.

An example of an awesome Grand Tour special (imo) is the one they filmed in Mongolia (S3 EP13). 'John' was fantastic in it.

Either way, the thing that has remained consistent across all of TG and GT is the cinematography. Hats off to everybody involved there.

They could continue the format in a way that's much less taxing to their bodies, something like a 'Conversation Street' podcast (video or even just audio only). I'd tune in for the contrived puns alone.

I don't know, I just feel like that at the beginning, they still had the chance to explore the format, see where it can go and, most importantly, had fun.

These new ones have been rehashing the same old ideas, just with less of their energy.

Clarkson's Farm and Our Man in Japan, in their first seasons, have been miles better than any The Grand Tour episode/special/season.

I don't know what it is but I stopped watching James May's Our Man in India halfway through the second episode. Just plain uninteresting. Japan was great, Italy was nice, but this...not so sure.

Still at episode 2, but enjoying X-Men '97 so far. It has more depth than the 90's series.

I've noticed that too. Episodes are lil bit longer. More emphasis on story, character development and plot. Fight scenes seem to be abit more mature/intense than the original series. I seriously hope Disney does not fuck this up. I personally hate the MCU, but i'm enjoying this series so far. This is probably the best thing Disney has done with Marvel ever to date. I hope they bring back the 90's Spiderman series as well, and the Hulk series. We need a X-men vs. Avengers storyline. I hope they stick with classic storylines and not more modern stories. The best Marvel stories are from the 80's , 90's and early-mid 2000's.

Where is the ass from Rogue I ask? The drawing is quite poor compared to the lengths they went through in the 90's.

John Semper told me on twitter when I had it is that all disney have to do is ask him to bring it back. But I don't know some of the original actors are no longer with us and Stan Lee is not seeing the development of it as well.
