OUT Adam Nickey - Reflections [Pure Progressive]

Poland’s Sebastian Wichary aka Adam Nickey returns after a hiatus with something very beautiful indeed. Reflections is indeed reflective, the sound of a producer who has grown & matured since his 2006 Deep Blue debut with the classic Perfect Destiny, a track which Solarstone describes as his favourite ever release on the legendary label. Reflections was a last-minute addition to the Pure Trance Vol. 9 compilation. Literally two days before that album was due to be finalized Adam’s submission Reflections was a huge surprise that came completely out of the blue, and serendipity must have been at work as the track slotted in perfectly as that album’s opening piece on Solarstone’s Disc 1. Painfully poignant and emotive, Reflections shows that machines can indeed have a heart.

Feels a bit too clean and empty in places but a nice vibe and lots of good ideas here.

Absolutely love this piece and the main chunk of this track reminds me of a famous GO track (trying to remember will edit post later)...but overall solid 9/10

Yeah the main feel is very nice, very nice progressive sounds. Would like an uplifting take, more rich and full. A proper groove would take this places.

I love it. So nice to see one of my idols and favourite producers back. I remember a few years ago (1/2/3) he officially said that he is done with trance and I was devastated, but I am more than happy to see him with a deep progressive track. I still might get my chance to work on a song with him one day
