Airwave around this time was releasing some outstanding music.

The Original Mix I feel is something of a modern day masterpiece. Movie score like qualities, so powerful and emotional. A 12 minute journey, and music with actual soul. I always said I struggled in these years when putting his music into mixes as nothing else either side of Laurents work sounded anywhere near the same level...unless it was another Airwave track

Welcome to the post-2007 section mate!

I personally prefer his other works from the same time (Reus Calling and A Touch of Grace, for instance), but now that you post this, I can actually spot the quality of this track. It's film score trance, really.

It's not nowhere near his old style, which seemed more effortless and free-flowing (some of his most popular classics were created in less than a day), but you can hear how much time and effort this took him, resulting in something far more complex and a lot more mature, musically. It' actually a gorgeous track anyways.

Both mixes are also fine tracks.

Just been revisiting some of Airwave from this time frame, aged very nicely I think. Tigris & Euphrates was the epic one but this original and full terrace remix is great in its own right. Top stuff from 2016.
