being a Spotify hater myself, I find that title unnecessary, same as with that Rank1 track. let the music do the talking, not the track titles

the track itself is something I can imagine on Joof

a shame the breakdown gated lead synth doesn't really make it to the main drop, I'd enjoy it more that way, more energetic

Tempted to write a rule that bans Beatport sample uploads honestly. Sound quality is poor and the sample size is too small. Not sure, go back and forth on it. Anyone protests lets hear them (may make a thread anyway)

Well, wouldn't that pre-empt a bunch of pending releases from ever being shown here, given that BP exclusives are a thing?

They'd appear eventually, when the actual youtube or soundcloud previews become available. But yeah, it does reduce some of the build up to a release if its only sample is BP before the release. Just wondering, do you listen to the BP samples? I personally never do, so might just be bias

I have, and I can get the basic idea behind a release to judge it, but I know full well the actual mp3/wav/whatever will sound better.

Yes, the quality of a sample from a beatport sometimes spoils the impression of a track. But if the track doesn’t represent anything, what difference does it make how good and high-quality the sample sounds? Lately, a lot of dubious works from Airwave, hundreds of the same ones are released on beatport every day, but only thanks to his name they are hyped.
