Whilst I don't have a preview of the original here as of yet, a preview of the Enigma State Remix of 'Voices' has just went live on Nath's Youtube channel and will be released 27/02/22 via Premier League Recordings.

Thanks mate.
A very different 'feel' track from the EP release. Some will point out it has an En-Motion feel about it which it does 😊

Pleasure to release this on Premier League Recordings!

Original sounds a bit more modern, but Andrew Senior is around for a while in the scene as well, just building back up his new alias (was Andy S. before).
He has an amazing Trance Breaks Remix coming next week as well.

Nice that you support this oldschool sounding trance ;)

Look forward to hearing more!
A very different feel tracks from both In My Fantasy and Enigmatic, but really does keep true to the classic period. This one has a more 2003/4 feel to it, but was a great opportunity to show what u can do with a modern sounding Trancer and how to make it sound 'not modern'.

Sounds more close to rapid eye than anything. A bit nervous about the white noise levels here but apart from that it sounds like it "should" ;)

Synths take the forfront and the kicks rests in the back - good.

I think that white noise is the video upload. I'm not great on the video editing side, im literally mocking these up using InShot on my phone which is a Galaxy S9. The track doesn't have as much white noise as what seems to resonate on the video. 😎

The final mastering on this wasn't done by me either on this, but done by Driftmoon.

Yeah some early Helstrip vibes with this one! I dont like the idea of Driftmoon mastering,if youre doing it in an old skool manner, you dont want a modern producer mastering it imo. Yours should be good enough.

Yeah, why is driftmoon involved? :(

(I sniffed out something wasnt right)

I remember listening to some Premier League singles a year or two , and they have awful mastering. Its like they polished up every single sound that supposed to be raw/analogue sounding and it sounded like an abomination/ugly mutation.

Driftmoon actually know how to produce this oldschool tracks, he also has some oldschool synths like JP8000, the reason why he dont make such music is he simply dont want to...but he can if he wants to. Remember that all Thrilseekers tracks are mastered in Driftmoon studio, like the Hydra album for example.... so thats atually a pretty good choice....

Hot take: Driftmoon is one of the better modern trance producers and generally has excellent mastering. His mastering skills are an asset even if this is supposed to be an old-school track.
You don't want to replicate the past, but instead enhance it using modern production techniques. Surely the past 20 years have seen breakthroughs in sound mastering/audio engineering that just were not available to the trance producers of then (and no, I'm not talking about putting white noise everywhere or making things as loud as possible).

Another classic feeling track, although more modern feeling than the others so far. It's good.

You have to trust that Driftmoon will do a good job with this track.

Not only that, but also: you (& Mag) don't know Enigma State's intentions with the revived '90s sound. My impression of Enigma State has never been that he wants to replicate the sound exactly as it was back then. It's his take on the old sound, his vision, and if he wants to team up with Driftmoon to make the sound in his head exist, I'm all for it.
