The first time ever I've heard the 'Gigolo Instrumental Mix' was in Paul van Dyk's Love Parade 1999 live mix, if the date on the video is correct, it was exactly 23 years ago on this day:
To be honest, I was never so much into it...
Then I was on a 3 days festival this weekend and a local legend (electro/acid dj) started to play a pure 'retro trance' mix in between an 'acid house/electro live act' and 'tech house dj'. 'Ayla pt.2' or 'Carte Blanche' were played, but this 'Gigolo Instumental' was the gun, everybody went crazy, one of the greatest moments on the festival!) So I decided to post it here in the classic's, it deserves its own place:
Apollo Four Forty - Stop The Rock (Gigolo Instrumental)
The non instrumental version:
Apollo 440 - Stop the Rock (Gigolo Stop The Jocks Remix)
The Gigolo guys released only one single under this name, maybe some of you remember ther remix for 'Gouryella - Gouryella'
