The final track on Northern Exposure 2, and what a way to end it. This mix is a great one because it puts you in a Trance-like state with the Progressive House journey for 80% of the mix and then drops in a big emotional and melodic moment at the end to complete the climax. Didnt Armin write this in 4 hours?
Holy balls, X Marks The Spot is actually a great trance track. Didn't expect to hear this style of trance from Armin at all. Archeae From Space as well. Just...wow! I remember taking a listen to those around 5 years or so ago, and me not liking them very much. Oh, how my taste has changed... Now I gotta relisten to his early discography again!
I also used to love Blue Fear very much, because it is one of the few unique, never-done-again tracks in this genre. And @TRANCEBLASTER he did make a rework, though in 2003.
Overall, a really strong release from Armin here. It says on Deezer that it was released in 1996, but can't find that info on Discogs.
