they talked about half an hour about it going to be a homage to 1999-2001.

Then they all jammed some stuff on the synth untill something came out.

They tried different beats. There’s a Picotto/Dumonde ish part but it’s not clear they will go that direction. Or a more modern direction (with the beats).

Its clear Benno is the producer mostly.

Nah it sounds amateurish especially with that lead and kick drum and that melody. Benno seems to have produced the entire track since he was sitting in the drivers seat at the majority of the time.

Benno is Armin's ghost-producer. He contributed more than the rest of the team in my opinion. And the rest could somehow be refined and polished.

What I found disappointing is that Ferry brought his JP 8000 but it wasn't used at all....
