I really don't like the original mix. I think the melody is very amateurish, especially for such big names, and the theme don't come close to Status Excessu D in any way.

I like this mix more tbh. Kind of happy the acid/techno sounds/bass have made a comeback in all labels compared to the housy sounds and baga baga we have been fed for years.

the main melody is not amateurish, it's simplistic by design - it actually works much better this way live than some sophisticated and detailed riff 'cause people can sing/hum/clap/whatever else alone to it, and for the ASOT anthem it makes total sense

the whole old-school concept of the original mix is a bit forced but it's okay too

I hate this remix and I don't hide the fact that Ben Nicky may be behind this "first" remix. He will be at ASOT in Rotterdam, so that says something. Whoever doesn't remix will be someone who will be at ASOT Rotterdam.

no matter who made that shit remix, Ben Nicky's just a commercial wanker, I would rather recommend staying at the bar or attending other stages if possible during his set
