No, I don't agree with you ;) Armin is passionate about music and constantly appreciates his oldest listeners.

It does not limit itself to one genre. When creating music, he wants to have fun and feel that he wants to keep doing it, he repeats it in interviews.

:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO: Of course, I do not accept Armin's production, I forgot that it was forbidden. I've already improved ;)

Wasn't expecting this collab, but to be fully honest I'm not too happy about it either. Given that they're both the type of person to release artist albums where every 3 out of 4 songs have been released a year prior (take Armin's "Breathe In" and Gryffin's "Alive", for example), I probably won't have to explain what I believe their motivations for making this collab were. At the same time, I uh... don't seem to hear any elements that are uniquely Gryffin? It sounds to me like Armin could've made it by himself.

Aside from that, I personally don't think it's that bad actually. The vocal is decent, the melody is pretty good and the bassline isn't too shabby either. I can see myself returning to this later (even though I'm still not a fan of that main synth).

I will probably get shot for liking this!
And I don't care!
imo the best track that Armin played in Ahoy on Saturday.
And it is coming on March 22nd.
The collab together with Gryffin:

it is fine, especially for live. I expected more poppy tune, but overall is if fine.

We already know from the cover of the song that it is a song from another new studio album ;)

This track is winner ASOT Tune Of The Year 2024 😳😳
What is it about this song that made the community vote for it? I prefer It Is Beautiful over this thing.

Surprised to see this one at #1, I was fully expecting Viva l'Opera to win. I was also a bit saddened to see my favourite tune of 2024 (Armin's collab with HI-LO) at just 40th, I was hoping to see that one in or around the top 20 at the very least 😔

Though I'll be very honest and say that even though I'm still not the biggest fan of the lead synth, it has in fact grown on me as I've predicted before. I didn't vote for it myself, but I can definitely see why others did as it's a song with a nice love atmosphere (Armin himself said during the top 50 episode that the song's title is literally what his wife said to him when they finally got together, I mean it can't really get much better than that lol).

....aaaand this is why we hate Armin :)

fu##ing Eurovision contest song..
This track reminds me of this this is what modern asot vocal stuff sound like and the vocal sound like they are unplugged and no reverb in them at all and except they have farty lead sounds.

To be honest, it’s the strangest winner of TOTY (probably ever) - I feel totally nothing while listening this track today. I was sure that Factor B will win (even if it’s overrated as hell, sorry for unpopular opinion 🤪). Probably the only thing I like in these results is „Crazy Love” in TOP 10 (thought that ASOT fans would forget about it).

I hope we all simply won't post much about that ASOT Top 20, as it's the same every year. It sucks, let's just wait for the Trancefix poll results. Much more interesting.

(I mean... those vocals in this track. Hahahaaaaa. Sorry, but DJ Sammy Heaven is MUCH NICER. And that's the tune Armin hated saying it's not trance. But his poptrance is way worse in last 5 years or so. Wayyyy worse).

All I know I is that armin and his team have been flogging this song and le epic videos of it all over the socials for the last few weeks with Facebook people asking for track id in the comments.
Armin force feeds his audience and so when it comes to his audiences favourite track - what Armin wants Armin gets lmao

I listened to asot with a friend yesterday, both of us having no clue about what's being played on ASOT these days, and she has even less idea. I was hoping for at least a few good tracks, but the only one that was listenable was Ferry's track with Superstrings. Everything else was just the same generic steroid trance or pop trance, with or without vocals, that's been played since 2007. Absolutely terrible, including this particular track.
