One of my favorite Armin's.

The vocals are a bit cheesy, more than say 'Dark Side of The Moon', or 'As The Rush Comes', but I enjoy them. It's OK.

The main synth/melody however is what makes the track for me. Really like it, great sound, drive and melody.

When I want vocals (and something a bit more cheesy), I listen to Shivers. Susana's vocals here are great, no wonder they made it to the album. But when I want more of a journey-like uplifting trance, I'll take Birth of an Angel. A classy production by Armin there. The way he opens up the filter completely exactly when the climax starts is amazing. Sweet synths and the style is spot on. Soft, uplifting middle-ground trance.

Overall, I prefer Birth of an Angel, but I have nothing against Shivers.

I'm not sure which version I prefer. I'm usually more of a person who thinks of vocals as an extra instrument, to me there are only about 10 tracks out there where I prefer the vocal version over the dub mix. Though in this case, the vocal mix is just as great as the dub in my opinion.

Both are really nice, but I prefer Shivers. Always did, always will.

There's also the Alex M.O.R.P.H. remixes, which aren't too bad either. For some reason i prefer the dub over the vocal here

Shivers is the vocal version of Birth of an Angel though As Shivers was released later
I still remember my first Armin Only on the Ocean Diva when Armin played Birth of an Angel!

I prefer the vocals because the fond memories I have when I was in high school. I was gaming with a friend of mine and he would always put on trance records and this one of the tracks that made me explore that scene.

The vocal Shivers version is my favourite too, It was these kinds of tracks that got me into Trance and uplifting especially.

Listening to this remix for the first time. Its quite good. I love both versions the music video is kinda surprising but cheesy this extended mix is also awesome too. It almost could be a rising star remix. Interesting how the Alex Morph remix sounds more like the Rising Star remix.
