Dont agree with any of this. Nothing from early armada sounds like this. Why did you like my comment even haha. Language confusion maybe.
I liked your comment because I agree with its content. The track doesn’t really stand out; it lacks development and sounds a lot like something Atkinson would produce. But it’s just a track, after all. The artist probably wasn’t aiming for some grand artistic statement, judging by the simple, some might even say “cookie-cutter,” melody. It seems the artist just enjoyed the process of creating it, achieved the result they wanted, and conveyed the emotions they intended.
I’ve never understood your criticism of the technical aspects of tracks – pointing out perceived issues with tonality, instrumentation, tempo, and so on. To me, that seems like such subjective nonsense. It’s as if there’s some perfectly calibrated, universally agreed-upon formula for writing a masterpiece, and somehow it has to meet your specific criteria.
Allan Morrow actually spoke about this really well when people started telling him he wasn’t doing things “right.” In essence, he said he simply enjoys the creative process and gets satisfaction from making tracks sound the way he wants them to sound. I’m sure with his skill, he could make a track exactly how some people want to hear it. But what’s the point of being an artist if you can’t express your own feelings and vision through your music?
