No but seriously, absolutely loving this approach. Fully agree with TJY on this one, Armada has released some absolutely horrendous remixes of classics lately and I'm very happy this isn't one of them.

Lol, well I was glad I had my 2nd pint of cider before listening. I'm just not sure why this was necessary - there ought to be a massive stone tablet on which the names of tracks which must not be touched are carved because they're truly hallowed.

Remix by young Marco V could have been interesting.
I am suspicious about pretty much all of the reworks of the old classics. Most of them fails miserably, but some are worthwhile. In those cases the remix needs to fill few things.
1. In needs to sound different enough from the original. So it actually sounds like remix or another track.
2. It is not just "trance by numbers". Way too often we have heard old track added to template we have heard countless of times.
This actually sounded... decent?

This track makes a lot more sense in the context of his essential mix posted above, which I'd recommend listening to - especially fans of 'old skool revival' stuff. I wouldn't download it or play it in a set but it was fun to hear a slightly different take, and a fitting set closer.
I gather Young Marco plays across a wide range of genres and has only been drifting in a trancey direction recently, but he seems a good lad. Apparently his essential mix is made up of mostly unsigned demos from new producers that he put out a call for online.
It's weird to see a rare case of the two scenes almost crossing over like this. I find it quite refreshing that the producers represented in the 'Old School/Classic Trance' thread seemingly have no interest in support from the old guard, but simultaneously weird that even the likes of J00F or Solarstone haven't caught on to Bliss Inc, Dylan Forbes, Alex Kassian, Rambal Cochet...etc. But long may it continue that way.
