man, you're wasting your great ideas (beginners always have the best ideas, because they're still fresh and not influeced/polluted by everybody else) on a shit sound, look at the labels you're releasing on - Girlfriend Records, Toast & Jam Recordings, Acuna.. man these are garbage labels that sign pretty much anything they got sent.

do it right, learn some more, YouTube is full of tutorials, it wouldn't even hurt to download a template or two just to look inside - the samples used, the processing, the mastering

and don't sign your stuff just anywhere to get it released, what's the point in that? you got talent so aim bigger

sorry if that hurts but it's way better than these 'nice one blablabla' mindless comments and I hope it hurts enough to make you grow

To be fair this sounds pretty good, much better then most other prog breaks tracks made today. I doubt Morphosis Records would say no to this

Agreed with trancedanne

Also, Toast and Jam is not that bad, they have Krafty Kuts, Lee Coombs, Hexadecimal, and the likes... even Rennie Pilgrem on their catalogue. Those are legends. However yes, if the point is to aim proggy/trancy breaks listeners then there are more suitable labels, but I believe you already did your homework.

I would prefer a track of not quite perfect quality than a track made by a professional sound engineer without a soul, as all the top labels are doing now, they sound perfect, but after listening to them nothing remains in memory.
