Wild that this was released in Germany just 1 year after the fall of the Berlin Wall.

B-side We Came in Peace:
The 1990 mix that made Dance 2 Trance popular. I always liked the deep, groovy bassline. Not a big fan of the slowly-building up acid, but hey if that floats your boat, good on you. The acid reminds me slightly of Age of Love.
Dopamine rush at 3:24. That ambiance along with the repeating, entrancing "They came in peace for all mankind" just sounds so good. Nice spacey melody at 3:40 as well!


A-side Dance 2 Trance:
Nice ambiance. Feels like it could have been an OST for a documentary from back then.

Why? Electronics were always very BIG in Germany.. many, many years before Trance or Techno.. Tangerine Dream, Popol Vuh, Klaus Schulze, Kraftwerk.. Huge EBM, New Beat or Acid House scene in the 80's..

'We Came In Peace' is legendary, imo the track sounds still very fresh ++ we have a messy pub in the city with an old jukebox and the track is still there after so many years!.)

Listen to that metallic lofi- snare in the 91 mix, brilliant. And those duh-duh-duh noisy claps in the middle section with the last clap sounds like it breaks down into atoms (just brilliant) I dont think people realize how iconic these are. The 90 mix is also damn cool, listen to how different that mainlead blippy melody sound with how they change a couple notes/pitches. And last but not least the 93 mix, hugely underrated! A completely different track, with only the original sample vox left basically.

I go for the '91 Mix. It's pretty nice. I'm usually not into these slower moody "real trance" type of tracks. But this one is pretty cool, and a great example of early trance.

Hm. I am not 100% sure about how it works exactly, but I imagine searching for "dance" end especially "trance", on a trance forum does return some polluted results.

Maybe try avoiding such keywords? And also search only for titles.
