Dark Matter from Denmark marks his debut on our label with two amazing tracks called 'It's Not What You Think' and 'That Which We Never See'. Both of them share the magical trademark vibe of the Progressive Trance that was released on Coldharbour a decade ago. Jack is well-known in multiple genres of electronic music, effortlessly moving between sounds which can be found on a plethora of labels like Pure Trance, Always Alive and Armada so we're more than happy to welcome him on Forescape. Steady grooves, atmospheric pads, simple and effective melodies make this one a brilliant release altogether!

That Which We Never See actually reminds me of a prog track from the early-to-mid '00s, don't know which one. I think I can spot an Airwave melody there as well (Ladyblue).

A bit more pumping than your usual releases on Forescape. I'm not really feeling either. Not bad but, dare I say it, sounding a little generic on the prog tip. I prefer the more usual, darker and more atmospheric Forscape releases.

Feels too empty for me, and the arrangement and structure is rigid and repetitiv. Change up the rhythms a little. Add some variety.

To make a more concrete example is saying this track only got 2 parts to it while older tracks often had up to 5-7. Much more crests and throughs, even without the basic breakdown/build. PLaying with dynamics, adding/removing elements from the mix.
