Dope progressive breaks from Eli, great atmosphere. Elusion has done a decent job too it seems... actually one of his best in ages. Forescape delivering again.

Ideas are great here, but the level of sound dynamics is one below the bandcamp guys, sorry that I feel the need to mention that but sometimes I have to write out this observation for therapeutic benefits.

This story is too familiar in the trance world for years now, whether its Borderline, JOOF, Forescape, PURE, FSOE... pick your heritage trance label. I am not saying these tracks sound bad, nor are these labels, some of which I love. It actually sounds clean and good but there is a difference to be felt and that difference goes a long way. Listen to that Sveda or that Neptune Discs release posted recently in this forum. They are fuller, richer and have sound effects that you want to capture in a bottle they are so nice. You never open a EP from these new bandcamp labels and say "that kick is too hard, that synth too flat, those hats too piercing, the robots made this one", but theres almost always something to feel in this manner with the familiar trance labels. Someone has to explain to me why the disconnect is so clear because I cant explain it other than a generic 'mastering' comment which is too unspecific and shallow of a response.

I don't really like bandcamp releases because 99% of the tracks there consist of acid sounds that I don't like, I think it's just a matter of taste, not quality. Here I like how Enlusion vividly revealed the theme at the end, but the track did not catch on.

Don’t get me wrong, I like Forescape, but I’m not talking about the style or taste of music, I’m talking about the quality of the sound design. The percussion, the dynamics, the feel of everything… it’s a level above. The first 10 seconds it is clear, way before style has any role to play. Forescape let’s say is a B, Bandcamp is A to A+. The gap between the two is big.
