Adam Thomas, better known to lovers of trance & progressive as Facade, is no stranger to Research & Development and for good reason. With a stylistic fingerprint that is unmistakably his own, despite branching across genre boundaries, we take Facade’s music very seriously. It’s with great pleasure that we present The Boundless Universes, a storied melodic narrative which captures the ear in a way that only one producer can.

My boy done good. I heard this as Ad made it and it was clearly gonna be great from early doors. Typical melodic levels and attention to detail the likes of which escapes me.

Its quite nice in some area, but as usual with the prog scene just always fining the beats/rhythms to be lifeless and basic.

I like it! Although I would've preferred different drums (although they do work). Years 2011 and 2012 had loads of tracks in this style - I think the drums they used could serve as an inspiration.

def my type of hate-on percussions, especially the clap. hate that deadmau5 kick/bassline/clap pattern rhyhtm. ok ok ok not hate, but i dont like it ok?

very middle-of-the-road production imo. 4/10 goes nowhere. with that two note whiny "melody"

Not finding it too bad myself. Sure it’s a bit flat with the beats but has enough other nice elements that I can appreciate it.

Yeah im not a fan of the typical deep trance percussions/bassline either. Everything else is really nice tho

deep trance

as a 'deep house' fan since 2009 and 'deep techno' fan since 2010 I want to ask you where is the 'deep' part of this production, or what makes it 'deep' for you? just a sincere question, why is this not just a standart “progressive“ trancer?

Overall its a standard progressive trancer, the lifeless percussions and bassline is however pretty much what you hear in almost any deep trance track today. Its just boring, the melodic elements saves this track

Not the biggest fan of the melody necessarily, but I do dig the latter half of that sample. Strange thing is, for some reason it reminded me of this (~1:30):

Still trying to figure out why.

So so. Melodies are good. Beats too much like we heard over and over again with the JOOF style deep prog, too standard and boring in my ears. Any how, Facade you are one of the better producers at this sound generally speaking, I'm always interested to hear what you put out.

Not sure how to classify this.... electro house? It doesn't fit my definition of progressive house and clearly it isn't trance. Can feel some funky vibes too. An interesting and enjoyable production. Look forward to hearing the full version.
