This Manchester City "downfall" might be the greatest thing I've ever witnessed

Honestly was sceptical of the return of David Moyes to Everton, but 6 points from a possible 9 now and looking like a completely different team on the pitch.
Happy to eat humble pie on my initial reaction if we can continue this run of form.

Have been watching the recent games @Hensmon ?

Might take a walk down to the new stadium this coming week as it’s 95% complete now and they will be hosting some test events there in the coming months.
The footage I’ve seen of it looks incredible!

I've been following, not watching. Saw a few games over Christmas when I was back in the UK and we looked so bad, so its good to hear we look different. The striker situation is so bad though, and I saw DCL got injured for the 100th time. Most injury prone striker I think i've ever seen.

Honestly though Ive been going off Premier League and football in general since moving to the US. Just have so little time in my days that sitting down for 2-4 hours to watch a few games is just not appealing, especially when the feeling you get from watching is good like 1 in 10 times. Not sure if the value is really there. Obviously always want the boys to do well though

Great final Goodison derby @LostLegend

Have you been going to the games?
I totally lost my shit when that goal went in

Trying to get tickets this season for a a nightmare (understandably) but hopefully I’ll get to one before we move.

I was hoping to get a season ticket sorted for when we move to the Bramley Moore stadium, sadly I’m still on the waiting list for that as well.

Amazing free kicks 2 in one game by the same player and against Real Madrid too. Loosing 3-0.

It seems that this summer's transfer policy is more focussed on strengthening the flanks, but without a stable support in the centre of the field, the team will again fail in matches against the top

I agree, focusing on flanks is great, but a solid center is key for consistency against top teams. To strengthen overall performance, I’ve been using some training equipment from BetterMe, which offers gear to improve balance, agility, and control—perfect for building a stronger midfield foundation.

lol you should be discussing Man Utd man seriously, the worst finish since 1986 last year and they lost 2nd division tier team called Grimsby Town (never heard of them) Pathetic.

I’d been past the site a few times during the construction but that cannot prepare you for just how massive the place is once you are there.
Still needs a bit more work on the interior areas (the concourses inside are still all concrete and steel and could use a lick of paint and some club branding), but the rest of it is phenomenal. And the noise inside… 🤯

Great thread, love seeing people share predictions, highlights, and rivalries!

Just curious what leagues do most folks here follow? I’m into the Premier League and La Liga, but I’ve also started watching football africain lately. Tons of talent and passion there! Always down to hear about underrated leagues or local clubs.

Just the EPL and FA cup mainly. Sometimes the world cup.

Speaking of World Cup, this is crazy. Riot in India I thought I would see this in South America but not India.
