Swim. its one of the best injury free sports there is and its a full workout.

you (almost) live in a pristine forest region with a river nearby.
You know, I might actually incorporate that into my routine, throw out one gym day. I've been thinking about it for some time now, makes a lot of sense.

I sprained my fucking ankle in one of the more stupider ways. Angry at myself. Can't really lift (without modification), can't run. Idiot!!
Finally managed to recover, went on two runs since...and this evening, I rolled it again. Stupid construction site blocked the pavement so I had to go on uneven ground, I was in a hurry and that same foot just slid in the hole and rolled the ankle.

Why can't life be easy??
