Is it the album called APEX? And is it confirmed to release this year?

Not sure, as he's recently been busy making new Synthazia tracks.

Somewhere around August last year, he posted that work on APEX is going full steam, but it would take a while to be finished.

Originally that album was supposed to come out last year I believe, but it was delayed.
Hope to have new info on it soon.

Damn, this track came out of left field! Reminds me a lot of early 2000s prog trancers from the likes of Hiver & Hammer, Benz & MD, and so on. Dark, groovy, hypnotic, mid 130s tempo. Curious to hear what the album has to offer

It will be released on this Friday, why there is still no pre-order lick of this track?

Tbh i have to say this again. It once again sounds too similar to the other hoopoe tracks. And while its lovely atmosphere and sounds it doesnt really develope into anything particulary interesting. I wish he could break away a little from his formula/structure and add some unexpected sounds or even maybe a little more melody. The first 2-3 min were good than in the end it just felt repetitiv and stagnant

You’re not wrong. The similarity doesn’t really bother me that much, but the track is the sane throughout, needed another idea in there.

I think any additional elements would have sounded too forced and compromised the results intended. As a first album single it sounds great as it is, simple and unique, on a similar level as Hutan but executed better overall imo (not just referring to the mix/mastering being better) there's a lot of character to it.

I believe rest of the tracks will be in similar format in nature with distinct characteristics, I simply cannot wait to hear the 2nd single.

But that is the whole point otherwise intro / main part would sound too segregated and end up sounding like mash up of two projects combined into one, then we'd loose out on the journey side.

Not all tracks need to evolve into surprises, it sounds cohesive enough for an album track. And it's just the first track and there's many more to be heard still to feel that album journey, then re-judge the entire sound from an albums perspective.

Currently I'm getting some strong Sword Fish vibes here, what I'm trying to say is the track is presenting itself as a serious intro to the rest of the album. I hope this is just an intro track.
