that bass rhythmic pattern makes it sounds slow and dragging in a way, the ordinary 16th rolling bass would make it more energetic and driving.

aaand I'd love the dub mix, not sure why but it feels to me like they had the instrumentals ready and then just plugged acapella on top of it to warp it up. vocals sound rather disjointed from the instrumental part ever though it's all good in key but the acapella is mixed very isolated from the instrumentals, dry-ish with no depth/space so it sounds like it doesn't belong there.

Vocal sounds real off here maybe its slightly too loud and that can ruin the entire flavour. Perhaps needs rigorous sidechaining for the vocal bridge. Musically speaking track sounds off with these vocals it would have been much better as a solo original as it sounds nothing like the original big sky.. but on its own it had potential as its very unique that melody behind it , if this wasn't being releasd on Wao138 then at least we could have hoped for a dub mix like back in the days it was almost guaranteed maybe nowdays it offends the vocalist so they stopped :(
