Such a dreamy fascinating track with everything that could be just ‘right from that era of Trance. It came on a compilation that was full of trance greatness. Dt8 Project ( Darren Tate) Beyond Euphoria

One of the only trance compilations of new music that i regarded choc full of trance goodness ( Godness )
Yet this track from Lennox ( Ronnie Minder) came out at me the most and knocked me for 7. It remains one of my favorite trance tracks ever.

As far as i know he only did one other track under Lennox ‘ Servant of Justice’

I can’t understand why Beyond Euphoria is the only place ive ever heard Flyin amongst the stars , and why oh why can such talent be kinda lost amongst many tracks of its time that were probably very popular but imo far less superior.

I only just found this one last night thru another comment of Bobby's; holy shit I can't believe I missed this up to now! I prefer the Airbase remix a bit more; the original is too much of a wall of sound at the climax.

So Great to see you guys love for this track ! It had always puzzled me how no one really knew the track seeing as for me in terms of pure blissful feelings from trance music, it stood head and shoulders above everything else I’d heard coming out in that era. I have so many CD compilations from that era too.
- It doesn’t surprise me he’s Oscar nominated regarding a film score, the lush sections of flyin amongst the stars with all the sublime pads feel very cinematic.

Quick question. Have you guys heard Estiva - The kingdom ? That was another track a few years later that has certain sections that bring me to the same level of blissfullness. It has a slightly different feel but at times (for me atleast) the emotion is so raw and beautiful ( like in ‘flyin) but that track too by Estiva never seems to be mentioned much. Instead his (for me) less impactful tracks by him get all the acclaim. Thers a particular sound in ‘The kingdom‘ that absolutely sends my synesthesia wild. I can see the memory of that sound in my mind as I am typing this, It’s so beautiful. ( I probably shouldn’t have said that lol - at least Aphex twin experiences synesthesia too so I’m in good company ).
Perhaps I should have a new saying when I meet people : ‘Careful how you speak to me, I see your voice in my mind’ lol

If someone really pushed me to say my favourite trance track…. I would say Lennox - Flyin Amongst the stars.

The lift that starts when the pad solo comes in, (2.47) lifts you straight to the stars and lets you as the listener fly amongst them in your mind. Love it! Soooooooo much. If I could ever write a track approaching this quality, my job here is done.
