EDIT: Silly me, just realized the OP sample isn't the same as the one posted by Arnoud. The original is actually the one I was talking about. Tho the remake doesn't sound bad either.

That original Antares sounds much better. Why do we keep seeing this pattern, where the modern touch robs so much quality? That high-hat is so forward and pronounced in the new version, and the overall groove, energy and warmth has gone. The percs in general are a massive step back in every way. Maybe some people think it has been improved, I just cant see it.

Almost forgivable but those piercing high hats keeps reminding me that there was a better unreleased version.
