Chord change atmosphere reminds me of classics by Armin / Signum / Onova.
Decent kick & bass combo, build up & a strong melancholic melody with proper 2008/2010 vibes. I think it's the closest melody I've heard on Borderline which takes me back to that era since the reboot.
Clearly inspired by VDM specially the intro lead and can also hear his own (recent) sound, I have a feeling a collab might be due soon with Activa or already in the works.
Also this should have been released along with Universe ep as this has a lot more identity than that Vdm - Fly away melody.

Pretty nice melody but the choice of synth isnt the best. It deserves a more elevated feel with a bit more stuff going on around the mainlead aswell
. The structure of the track is just flat/boring/predictable. Modern producers just doesnt seem to get how to make more intricate and detailed arrangements.
