The start of their careers was the their peak imo - they never better stuff like this or the Ordinary World remix.
Yeah this sums it up well for me. The first thing I heard and the only thing I've ever liked from A&B. The rest of the their stuff turned out to be wishy washy fluffy commercial garbage. Were heavily promoted because trance was fast in decline by 2001 as a ton of quality artists had left the scene after the Internet came along.
As it always goes with the music business, when somebody leaves you've always got to replace them with something else, whether good or bad. The show must go on.

This is their other remix of Madonna which not many people know.

Madonna - Nobody Knows Me (Above & Beyond 12" Mix)

There was a Paul van Dyk remix too

I have absolutely no idea who did this... BUT IT'S AMAZING. While remasters always have their own flavour and some things usually change in a way that people may wish it didn't, this one is actually REALLY REALLY cool!

The intro FX sounds like it was redone from scratch, it's so clean!!

The vocals in many parts sound amazing, even better than in the original. The 303/Virus preset sounds different and sharper, the new arrangement is quite funny and makes me feel like I'm listening to an alternative mix of the track, fascinating!!!

Things only got better after the final snare roll and drop towards the end, I could better hear strings that I wasn't even sure I had heard before and then I heard a new pluck layer that maybe I didn't notice or wasn't in the original either??
