I use to trust flacs but not anymore as there's definetly some compression/ system noise whilst decoding pcm audio and wav sounds a lot more punchier/ bassy/ full dynamic range. Never listening to an audiophile again when it comes to flac vs wav sound quality comparison basing on going by spectrum charts only. The Audiophile community doesn't even consider trance music as audiophile worthy.
Melody sounds warm and lovely listening through my phones speakers, will definitely support this release

Cheers - i like Bandcamp because it doesnt even give you the choice to upload an MP3 - i much prefer to give listeners the original raw WAV - which you can burn to CD and listen on a good system - if you still have one haha.
Good track , I like it, it will probably be the top 2 for me after "Second Universe"
Thanks! Yes Second Universe would be in my top 5 but Back To The Stars is my fave track i made.

Want to keep this thread about the music, but you can test converting a wav to flac and then back again, and you will get the same bit for byte information, confirmable with hash. If you are hearing a difference between the two, the only plausible reason would be the software chain if you are playing flac directly, which has nothing to do with the flac medium. The other reason could be what's going on between your ears haha

I just found out that that WAV file was corrupted with static noise - cant believe it. Ive replaced it now! I think my external HD is currupting files....
Sorry but this sounds like a draft version of M.I.K.E. & Fred Baker track The Search For Freedom.
Yes, he was probably inspired by Mike's track when creating this track. He also has a cool remake versions of The Search For Freedom, which is probably one of his favorite tracks. And mine, too, by the way.
