Well seeing as im nearing the 20th annivesary of the 'Magdelayna' alias,i thought id make an original track going back to the old skool sound of my early productions - i hope you enjoy it!

Different kind of journey with soothing kicks, looking forward to the release very much, getting some classic Blueman vibes as well when the kick fades away momentarily (love that section).

Wonderful track dude. Lovely vibes, overall theme makes you think back to the better days.
Cheers for the comments - this is something i will do more of in the future,revisting very old projects and giving them a slight rework - the reason why this sounds quite dated is because its based on my old Magdelayna sound from around 2007. I tried to get some of the more simple Trance chords in this one - the intro one reminds me slightly of Diving Faces,with that synth i used aswell.
I have loads of old projects in my logic folder that i really want to look at as the melodies i made are good - they just need to be reworked hehe.
These are all 'fun' projects now aswell - will never be sending to any labels and i doubt DJs will ever play them.
I will release this soon on Bandcamp.

Sounds like they have aged like a nice smooth single malt. Love to hear the results.
This track was reworked from my old Lustral remix from 2007....one of my absolute favourite remixes i ever did,but some people might not like the vocals,so this is sort of a reworked dub version.
This is pretty cool Mag. The atmosphere is really nice and I like the simple melody. It has an interesting build too and takes its time. Nice work.
What would take it to the next level is if the percs sounded less modern and more classic. What I mean is that its just too perfect/homogenized/clinical. I know you are fan of classic sounds so you must hear the difference in sound design when you compare. Modern stuff always has the kicks/hats so forward in the mix, like you can hear its a seperate layer, whereas classic it just kind of merges into the bass and everything else.

I think it sounds lovely. I'm not to big of a fan of vocal tracks since it's often to much, but this is perfectly balanced.
