@Pulser Was there an instrumental mix of this? I coudn't find it on discogs but this guy uploaded a mix of an instrumental edits and it sounds lovely with the percussions and without the vocals.


By the way, I just saw in the credits that Rick Simmonds, Stephen Jones aka Space Brothers were involved in writing the lyrics.

@Progrez I probably did a dub mix with less vocal but doubt I made an instrumental. I lost a ton of work to hard disk failures around that time and learned the hard way about backups. I guess that is why I don't have any other mixes of this in my archives.

In for example Gouryella tracks the vocal is wayyy worse.

Have you tried going to someone who can restore those hard disk failures? I know I have gone to them they were able to recover 40% of it. They have gotten a lot better at recovering files.

I tried. I lost an almost complete album and hundreds in the process but that's 20+ years ago. I religiously back-up these days.

Did anyone spot the vocal isn't the same as the original? I had to pitch it in certain places and change it to fit the minor key of the remix

I did notice that the vocal did sound different to the original hence why I wanted an instrumental mix because the original mix is engrained it's the only version I am used to listening Would love it if you could show fans and people who want to make this kind of trance once again whether it be uplifting or progressive trance I would love to know how you guys made those tracks back in the day and would pay top dollar to know because that skill and knowledge should be retained.
