I don't know you personally, so it's not about liking you.
I am just genuine shocked by your conclusions a lot of times. Maybe it's because I make music myself. So I know that someone can spent hours on a few hihats. Getting just the right ones. Not just the first you click on. Adjusting the pitch on them to make it perfect for the specific track. Adjusting timing, reverbs, etc etc. It can be anything. To make just a few hihats perfect. Next day you find out it's not what you want in the end. Let's work on it again. The same with claps, percussion samples, FX. Don't just slam in some wind... NO, choose or create something unique for your FX. Hours mate. Hours. Untill
everything is balanced out, and it all sounds perfect. Great satisfaction when all your effort is finally done and made into a worthy endproduct.
Now, I am my own most critical/cynical fan, so I honestly don't care if you would be harsh to what I make personally. Like I always say: I'm just a noob.
But there
are tracks from others posted here - whether you like them or not (that's taste) - there is lot's of time and effort put in them. Tracks with unique sounds that are in zero other tracks. Tracks that offer something to our genre that others don't. And then you quickly rate them like 6/10.
So then I have to conclude: You believe all those templates are better. As you usually give those 8/10, deffo not lower than 6/10.
And that's just heartbreaking
I tried to explain that in the other topic as well, and then you replied that you don't care about that. You just want a good melody.
I'd rather have you understand some aspects of what people are saying, but I don't think I can succeed. So alrighty then, I'll mute you and you'll never have me bore you again about your ratings...
Oh btw: if you stumble upon tracks with false singing.... you can just give them 0/10. So you have enough low grades left for "normal crap". Just a tip.
