Narel - ID [Pure Trance?]

I was really amazed by the ID on last Pure Trance and just a minute ago I saw a @Narel’s post from yesterday (source: Facebook)

That cheeky ID on Pure Trance Radio 391 yesterday was a demo I sent to Rich Solarstone. He played it to see what people thought. If you liked it, post a comment and let him know .

Probably the best tune ive heard from him apart from Endgame, finally something that i think has always been lacking in his music; DRIVE

liking the sound design a lot, although the melodies don't do it for me - the intro plucks are too glued to the 4x4 pattern, lacking syncopation strongly and the main breakdown/drop theme just feels forced/uninspired

with stronger melodies could've been a big tune

Very playful synths!

It's nice for a change, to get something this bright in a scene filled with dark, dead serious vibes.
It radiates authentic and pure,
like an innocent child.


There is a guy called The Muses Rapt, who's track
'Spiritual Healing' hits close to this with the vibes.

I’m really proud of this one, the lead in particular, weird and a bit divisive but definitely uplifting. The genesis of this is I deliberately set out to make a trance tune, but without supersaws.
Rich (Solarstone) turned this demo down, so I’m hoping as he’s played it and asked for opinion he might reconsider. He played ‘Maybe This Time’ by me and Deepcry as an ID asked for opinions on it, then signed it. That’s out soon.
We’ll see. Glad people like it so far. I think it will be a bit atypical for some.

Never know but has to be as thy both go by very similar username Daysleeper last post was in dec 2023 and similar time Nightslapper started becoming active almost as if he replaced Daysleeper username maybe for the better good as his feedback seems less harsh and more to the point now.

Woukd be crazy if he doesn’t pick this one up. It has the best of the pure vibe and the weirdness of the best tracks from the label. PT usually at its best when it’s stepping outside the box. Great track
