The end part of the notes during the break part have that Mac & monday touch but the drop takes it into its own territory of uniqueness. 10/10 for creativity alone, needs to be signed asap if not Solarstone, then Activa might take it?! Defo no bluesoho plz.

When Rich turned it down he suggested Activa (Rob) for Borderline, Rob turned it down because he didn’t like the lead riff. But, it has led to me working on something for Rob, as he spoke very highly of the production.

May want to try EDM Recordings.
That wouldn't really result in much promotion, but I'm pretty sure that Casey would dig this track.

It's different... Maybe try a Japanese Trance label, like Otographic Music?

It's quite uplifting! Maybe FSOE?

god no please, leave that QA-less outcast stuff for Breakfast and Naden
Tend to agree, plus I don’t want anything of mine to be even vaguely associated with EDM, even if mostly just a label name.
@Electronlyman FSOE/FSOE Fables turned it down saying ‘the lead isn’t strong enough’. Which I took as ‘the lead isn’t a massive supersaw’. I took a punt on them having released the Cape Town tune, but then also, that was co-produced by Ferry Tayle who runs Fables.
I’m sure there are a bunch of smaller labels that would want it, but I think it’s worth more exposure than they would provide.
Holding out for PT, but if not I’ll self release it reckon. Still fuck all promo but no pathetic royalties to yield.
Funny how I love this track, reviews on here have been overwhelmingly favourable, but labels are like meh. Are we off the pulse? Are the labels off the pulse??

Cmon will def put this on TF without hesitation. Make you some nice artwork, big front page banner, usually gets 5k-10k hits on the thread. Will use Soundbreeze for the master. The mainstream trance labels haven't been on the pulse for 15 years.

well back then in a normal world, EDM was standing for the whole bunch of electronic dance music genres, before it got hijacked and marketed for the stupid US teenagers as that cheesy electro/bigroom stuff = EDM from early 2010s

anyway what I meant is that the best that label can do is probably distribute your music to the DSPs, which you can do on your own, their stuff nevee gets played anywhere means they suck at promotion

I got the same there and there were supersaws so I guess you took it incorrectly, might be what I pointed out in my first reply to this thread. :)

I understand your fear of not wanting to be associated with EDM, for what it is these days. haha

This track keeps coming back in my head, thanks to this very lead, that label owners have dismissed as weak haha. When JMJ came up with the original Oxygene, nobody understood it... Years later it blew up the whole EL scene. 😄

For a more fitting example, Eco has made a lot of unique Trance stuff back in the day, stuff that hit in a different way as well and he has built a lot of respect for that.

This track deserves a proper release, maybe with quality remixes as well.

@Horizons Landscapes Music this could be interesting for you, could be worth to consider releasing this nice tune with a Thomas Datt remix as a package?

I think this is the kind of stuff that'd go right up Thomas's alley, energy wise!

It's Nick's choice of course and I will leave that to him as it should always be. Got some name in mind for (possible) remixes too but, again, it's just about his final decision. I only hope this marvellous tune gets the right credits on a label that really cares about the underground essence of trance, because that what this tune is, no steroid compromises or cheesie suggestions.

Listened to it again and it gives me sort of "Analysis Mode on Phealon" vibe but made for Pure Trance. Not sure what Rich was thinking to turn it down.

also, some stuff released on PT, especially during about 1-2 years ago leaves me clueless how that amateurish shit could get signed to a rather big label. obviously, Rich has his own vision of what's good and what's not.
