Here are some incredible tunes from the early 90s that have the trance tag on Discogs, feature some trance elements, and are often embraced by the trance community, but are not actual trance records. Can you name more?

Life Form - Come Down (Hypnotic June 7 Mix by 2trancecentral YouTuber) [1993]

Young American Primitive - Sunrise [1992]

Love 4 Sale - Do You Feel So Right (DJ Joe Remix) [1992]

R.H.C. - Fever Called Love [1991]

Robert Miles - Children (Dream Version [1995]

I disagree with Children not being a trance record. Who said that?

edit: Simon Berry (aka Art of Trance) released this song on Platipus (a trance label), which is good enough for me to consider Children a trance record, no questions asked.

Yeah I agree. It was considered dream house or dream trance but I would still consider it to be trance.

Btw RHC is that Red Hot chillipeppers?????

RHC - the person behind that was Caspar Pound (RIP) who made the beautiful remix of Union Jack

Man, what the heck. I've always considered Two Full Moons and a Trout (Caspar Pound remix) to be the best that trance has to offer, along with the extended version of Netherworld. I had no idea he has not been with us since 2004.

... it kinda makes sense, since I never really saw his name appear anywhere else. It's so sad that he passed away at 33, just 5 years older than my current age...

Even Miles himself considered it "dream house" back when it released, and I think it's a fitting definition considering the typical aspects of house music and the dreamlike qualities of the tune.

Faithless - Insomnia

Id call it Trance...but is never been regarded as a Trance classic, never was on any CDs?

Good pick. I wouldn't call it trance, but it is definitely embraced by the trance community and it has some of the emotional and stylistic elements I associate with the genre.

from where you have that info? 'Dream House' was something completely different
While the influence of dream house continues to echo through the ages, the style was a:t its peak between 1989 and ’94, when producers across Italy delivered a high volume of loved-up, wavy and occasionally blissful productions that fused contemporary deep house tropes – most notably from Chicago, New York and New Jersey – with elements borrowed from ambient, jazz and Balearica.
only TV and mainstream radio misinterpreted the style when 'Children' started to be big... here you have some typical 'Dream House' tunes:

Welcome To Paradise 89-93 (Vol. 1)

Welcome To Paradise 89-93 (Vol. 2)

Welcome To Paradise 89-93 (Vol. 3)

pls make better research

Here’s a track that SHOULD have the ‘embraced by’ status but falls in the cheese category unfortunately:

Sash - Equador.

I think it's because that song is officially eurodance, lol.

The tranciest song related to Sash! is the Future Breeze edit of Encore Une Fois. I would say that one is unquestionably trance.

Id say both were trance...were on all the trance cds back in the day. This is why i said insomnia - cos that wasnt on the obvious cds....
But the chords sound like house music though there is a distinct signature sound.
