Almost twenty years on from its original release, Above & Beyond now release their 2023 Progressive Mix of ‘Satellite’, which they debuted to 22,000 fans at their Group Therapy 500 celebrations at Banc of California Stadium last year.

‘Satellite’ (Above & Beyond's 2023 Progressive Mix) is the first single from the forthcoming ‘OceanLab: The Anthology’ project, which celebrates the legacy of the iconic trance group through a series of new remixes, a digital compilation, and a limited edition vinyl box set product.

I bought the Oceanlab limited edition vinyl anthology yesterday. This should be on it. But I really bought it for the classics. Not for this remix. It’s a bit average imho.

it's such a messy one, seems like Andrew Bayer has nothing to do for a few hours lol

it pretends to have an old school vibe and then there's these cheesy anjuna 2.0 chords on the main drop, fuckin directionless..

What happened to this one great label. As mentioned sounds like it was whipped up by some kid on work expereince in an afternoon

Not bad. Doesn’t top the original ofc and preferred the productions on their Tranquility Base EP but would happily have this on in the background :)

The Genix & Marsh Remixes that will come with the pack I’ll be looking forward to though :)

off course there has to be Marsh remix of a classic vocal tune, guess we can all imagine what it'll sound like - typical Marsh beats + acapella and a few safe synths. not a bad thing for one or two remixes but he's abusing that algorithm too much

It looked like they use the original stems and just watered it down and stripped pretty much everything raw and life it had and made it sound so lifeless.

It's based on the largely-forgotten Above & Beyond Progressive Mix from 2004, just slowed down and rubbed with a bit of boot polish.

It's rightfully forgotten. Such a clash between the instrumentals and the vocals. It doesn't fit at all imo. This 2023 remix also not my cup of tea.

Nothing beats the original and Markus Schulz remix for me.

This one from 2004 is much better than this sloppy 2023 poppy version. In any case, nothing, absolutely nothing beats the Original Mix.
It is the best trance track to ever exist. I fully stand by it.

Jono's Clinical Mix.
