Seeing some interesting collabs here, the samples sound decent as well so I think this one could be worth a shot.

Way too many collabs - im not sure why he went down that route in the recent years when he made something amazing like the Out There And Back album. Someone told me recently that all his stuff was always ghost produced - something i didnt want to believe as i loved his late 90's stuff - way ahead of its time in production quality.

A bit better than his previous 2 albums but still far off from his best work.
Parallel dimension still the standout piece with Remedy, Resource and Velvet Sky being notable mentions.

Best collab has to be Awakening, there's some vintage mid to late 2000s PVD in that one. Parallel Dimension and Velvet Sky a tie for a close second. As always with the last few albums, the best tracks are the solo efforts and the tracks with Vincent Corver. I've been a PVD fan my entire life so that won't change regardless of what he does, but if he would have taken 3 years to do a solo album I think it could really be a modern classic. He has done some great classic feel tracks since the accident, so it's clear he still has it in him to make excellent and unique trance music

He mainly does collabs with VANDIT guys, especially newer talent. The only big names he enjoys doing tracks often with are Alex MORPH, Chris Bekker, and GO

Well, Paul has done a lot of tracks in different genres over the years (progressive, a lot of trancey breaks, some ambient, more hypnotic and spacey sounds in the early and mid 90s, high tempo 140+ stuff), but he has more or less single-handedly created the energetic trance vibe. Think of early Nu NRG, Askew, and VANDIT until 2006 or so. It's what he's best known for and obviously what he enjoys most playing and producing. He doesn't care about trends or making stuff differently just because people expect it. It will of course divide a lot of people and that's totally understandable. After 30 years the man has nothing left to prove, so at this point in time, you either love him or you don't
