Anyone know if 2 Players - Signet (Leama & Moor Remix) was released on anything but vinyl? I think that's the remix.. the one that's 11:30 long. Seems like both Afterglow and Lost Language can't agree on the labelling of 3 or 4 Signet remixes. Can't find the actual 11:30 long one anywhere and don't know if vinyls available on Discogs have the correct track since most of the durations are missing.

Edit: I guess the Smith & Pledger remix too? The real one doesn't seem to exist anywhere. Every Signet release is so fubar. 😟
I have 2 Players - Signet CD-R with Mixes from Leama & Moor, Smith & Pledger, G&M Project, & Plastic Angel.

Find me.

Andreas Riklin from the 90s Swiss Hard Trance project Artemis, recently uploaded their works, including some unreleased gems for free download in lossless formats!!

So glad about this, I was messaging him a few years ago about the fact that there wasn't a possibility to purchase their works.
Now we can finally get these gems in high quality 😎

Known from tracks such as Inverted Humanism, Sky Puzzle, Age Of Heret-X and more.
Link: Artemis (Atoom)

I recently came across this release on discogs (Bytes Brothers - Scottish Scoll) and was disappointed to find that there's seemingly no way to access these tracks anymore; one person has been able to upload the Club Mix on youtube but the other three simply do not exist anymore - they're even listed on spotify yet are literally unplayable.
Would anyone happen to know if it's still possible to buy or obtain these tracks? I'm a big fan of everything by this duo and I hate the idea that entire tracks might be lost forever simply because a website shut down or something like that.

Any info is appreciated! (y)

Does anyone know the story/reasoning behind Perasma - Swing 2 Harmony (Deserves an Effort remixes / Gabriel & Dresden Remix / etc) not being found on stores/streaming portals?

I can only see the Original / Matthew Dekay remixes on Spotify and even that is regional to US/Canada I believe (I assume licensed to Ultra for a long term at some point); the credits even show Written/Produced by as Undocumented.

It was played alot by Armin, included in the Politics of Dancing 2 by Paul van Dyk; but oddly enough even in the 2 youtube versions of Politics of Dancing 2 it actually is silenced out / blanked out at the Swing 2 Harmony sections (~1:07:00 into the mix).

Marc La Cruz & Ace Da Brain - Spacewalk

Anybody has this hard trance gem EP in lossless?

you should try asking one of the brothers Maximilian Beitz on facebook as he's still active ghost producing for other trance producers. Unfortunately they are once sold digitally on germantrance.com trackitdown and both are no longer there

I tried to find any contact info for them but couldn't find anything, could you drop a link please?

I only include tracks that have never been made available in digital format (neither on CD nor as a WEB release).

  1. The Source Experience - The Source Experience [1993]
This just makes no sense to me. This is one of the best trance tracks ever created. And it's only on vinyl.
  2. DJ Wag - Life On Mars (Y.O.M.C. Mix) [2001]
This is by far the most popular version of Life On Mars, yet this is literally the only mix/version of it that is vinyl-only. Why? Also, not to be confused with the Y.O.M.C. Global Mix, which is a totally different track.
  3. Malcolm McLaren - The Bell Song (Parks & Wilson V's Obscure Remembrance Mix) [1997]
This one is a little bit cheating because the full uncut 15:15 long version technically did come out on CD, but only in Spain, and that CD costs €100 (plus, even that version has a hard cut-off above 21KHz). All other digital/CD releases are shorter versions that completely butcher/remove the main melody of the track.
  4. Unreal - After Hours [1994]
This was on the B-side on Unreal's Phenomenon (which did get a CD release, by the way), yet history proved that ultimately After Hours became the more recognized/acclaimed track. Yet it's only available on vinyl.
  5. Soulsearcher Vs. Apollo 440 - Stop The Rock Vs. Can't Get Enough [1999]
This bootleg/mashup came out on the Rejected EP, and it has a CD release, but the track is part of a mix CD, so it's mixed over and incomplete.
  6. Atlantis - Fiji (Cequenza Remix) [1999]
One of the best remixes of Fiji (along with the Lange Remix and the Binary Finary Future Mix). Unfortunately, it's a vinyl-only release (it's available on CD, but a cut-down 8-minute version instead of the full, 10-minute version). At least as a nice compromise, George Winkworth (Atlantis/Cequenza) uploaded his previously unplayed vinyl rip after I asked him.
  7. DJ Alici - Ankhesenamun (The Lost Love Edit) [1999]
The Lost Love Edit basically adds a nice intro to the original track, making it even better. It's a vinyl-only release.
  8. Slyder - Score (Original Mix) [2000]
This track was made famous by Grand Theft Auto III. Vinyl-only and only a really bad quality lossless vinyl rip is floating around on the internet. Apparently, the track was at one point available on Slyder's website in WAV format, but now it's gone.
  9. Slyder - Neo (The One) [2000]
This track was made famous by Grand Theft Auto III. Apparently, the track was at one point available on Slyder's website in WAV format, but now it's gone.
  10. Sunday Club - Paladian Dawn [1995]
This track has been released both on vinyl and CD, but... the full uncut version was only ever played in Club Imperiale. I talked to Marc Mitchell, and he said they plan to remaster and release the full version of the track.

Of course. I have SoulseekQT, Redacted, Cloudwalkers, etc. But my point was that these tracks never saw an actual CD/WEB/digital master, so the only lossless/FLAC/WAV version of them you can acquire is a vinyl rip. Furthermore, these are not "pretty common tracks"; in fact, most of them are super rare.

  • The Source Experience, After Hours, the Lost Love Edit of Ankhesenamun, and the Soulsearcher Vs. Apollo mashup very rarely shows up in the searches.
  • No one has the Y.O.M.C. Mix of Life on Mars in FLAC (I only have it because I contacted the artists behind the track and also an Australian DJ, and even still, the vinyl rip I acquired that way has some noticeable nose in it).
  • The Remembrance Mix of The Bell Song is also something that literally no one has in its full version (15:15). I only have it because I managed to convince a guy on Discogs a year or so ago (so I have a rip from the only CD on which the track came out uncut).
  • The Cequenza Remix of Fiji only became available (as a form of vinyl rip) after I contacted George Winkworth on Facebook (Atlantis).
  • The only version of Slyder - Score that is floating around on SoulseekQT/Redacted/etc. is a very bad rip with tons of noise.
  • Sunday Club - Paladian Dawn is not available in its full version anywhere because it was never released; it was only played in clubs.
Literally, the only single track that is "pretty common" out of my list is Slyder - Neo (The One), which gives me 4 results on SoulseekQT. All the others either give me 0 results or 1.

Obviously, you can find everything in MP3, but by that point, why not just rip the tracks from YouTube? I have a feeling that pretty much everyone who is serious about music wants to listen to tracks in a lossless format.

BTW, I forgot about something huge.

Mystic Force by Mystic Force (Russel John Hancorne) is one of the most important tracks in the history of trance music (and also one of my all-time favorites). The same year it was first released (1994), it got remixed by Francesco Farfa. This remix was released on this vinyl only (European Associated - Mystic Force). This is a really special remix, and even MP3s are hard to find, and no one has it in lossless. Does anyone here have it by any chance?

wait, so if im hearing you right, you don't even want vinyl rips? web lossless ≠ good rips. many of them lossy re-encoded and i do get them from the artists themselves unintentionally

Italian Mediterranean progressives from 94-98 are impossible to acquire in mp3 yet alone lossless as they have only been released as little as a dozen copies within clubs in northern italy. i just remember a few guys long ago like Diversant and Dave83 on SS that have 320 mp3s ripped personally

Man, you managed to misunderstand me again. :D I always want the best quality version available, and I also happen to have every single track from that list I wrote (except Paladian Dawn, I only have the 12-minute version for reasons I've previously mentioned). But the point of my post was that regardless, those tracks should be released digitally for music preservation/etc. purposes.

Yeah, I have a 320kpbs MP3 version of it.
