Don't understand why these old legendary producers come back and produce generic uplifting. Makes zero sense.

And yeah, this is not good either.

Yeah its a good point - who knows why. Surely they still have their old projects and style that made Re:locate more unique that other guys years ago - this is just a generic by the numbers production, its like he just downloaded the latest sample pack and used it.

I think Paul ghost produces this type of trance for many. Once in a while he releases under his own name.

Im guessing that brings in more money than being your own unique producer etc.

I don't think it's terrible, but no question I would prefer something less generic style and a track more akin to what Re:locate used to do. It's sad to think money is the reason he chooses this over and a different style. Not because money is not a worthy motivator, but because this style makes more than higher quality and original styles.

Whats money got to do with anything....you hardly make any money from releases now,no matter what style it is.

does that make all his own tracks a generic non-descript thing?
no, but it might make it easier for his "own" tracks to adopt said generic elements if he uses them all the time in other man's productions.

For al we know Paul doesn't view things like that though and might genuinly like the *insert Vengeance kick v generic Serum bassline here* Sound. 🤷‍♂️

I suppose you would practice what you preach...thats why id never do any of that tutorial/ghost producer rubbish - iam my own artist. Try and make money off your own music, instead of making for others.
