How the F does people still enjoy this is beyond my understanding. I know I am overly harsh against most stuff but I seriously dont understand the appeal of listening to things like this, at all! I dont understand the appeal in producing it either. I dont understand hearing it live, not home, not anywhere! a single one of these poweruplifting/steroid producers ever thought the idea like hmmm,these starts to sound the same and im still making it anyway wtf???? I mean sure you could like a specific vibe/sound whatever but the big mindfuck for me is the same formula/stock sounding instruments on every single track. And ofc same mastering/final product.
Its a thought I cant get out of my head sometimes, like why hasnt there ever been any inside critisism against this sound within the established trance scene? Why hasnt a single producer (or is it just robots making this?) Its almost like the producers doesnt care. But that is maybe not something new
? Like they are just on autopilot producing for the ASOT factory machine. Like autobots. Why hasnt a single one of these 50 or so powerlifting/steroid producer ever had any selfreflection what they are producing.? Is the simple answer that its only to keep the business of gigs/asot machie alive/ plays going ? Or what else?

I used to support tracks like this years ago on my radio show,but ive seen the light quite a while ago now. Yeah, its the same production recycled with a slightly different melody,the same uplifting chords but put in a different order. And i also wonder why they use such default sounding main synths. It would indeed be interesting to see what these group of modern producers think - it does seem like a factory roll-out that labels like FSOE do nowadays. These kind of productions have no value anymore - ok they might reach the Beatport top 10 for a few weeks and get a ASOT play. But thats it...just another track that will get forgotten. This is why theres no 'classics' anymore.
