Sounds like Greg Downey - Stadium and Nu Nrg - Freefall having a baby

I hope for the same version...cause its excellent, very similar to Freefall. I almost forgot about the track, good news :)

Freefall isn't as flat as this is though. This is just Activa sound pack with a default modern synth

Nice to see Bostock back on Borderline, even if it's a previously unreleased track. Hopefully this is a sign of new material as well

Personally speaking this is one of my favourite modern uplifting tracks. Been waiting for a release of the full version for some time.

Love the wistful melody and esp the second climax with the strings.

Gave it fair chance once again I have to stick with my prevoius thoughts. Its flat and one-dimensional-sounding. The melody especially is not developed enough. Be it compositionally or just the layering.of it. It comes out one-note:y and samey and goes nowhere. It feels dull to me. In the beginning I was actually aaah, this might be good, but the longer the track went on the more it left a disinterest.

The beatwork is also way too monotonous and just stays about the same throughtout the whole track and it sounds completely like an Activa track.

I honestly dont get why people rate things like this so high. I mean just give it a proper listening I you'll realise my points. The whole track to me is a 3 min basic build activa trance-template just EXTENDED to a 7 min track witthout having the meat of a 7 min track.

Full version is excellent as expected. Probably one of my top 3 uplifting tracks released this year and a very high score of 8,5/10

Feel Daysleeper might be right in someways, that the track could develop more and that it feels like 3 minute buuld thats extended across 7 minutes. I dont mind that it's straight-forward simple approach, but I would love to see some more meaningful phases, transitions or something to go beyond what I think is an awesome foundation.

Still really like it though.! Personally like the simple melody a lot, it's clean and lovely. Bit one notey though yeah, could have done with some variation. The production doesn't flat feeling for me, but not really warm and interesting like old productions are either. Very solid track, will be playing it more for sure.

I would call it a good "standard trancer", but in all honesty this is well above the standard of todays scene, take of that what you will. Everything sounds balanced and the track is driving, without killing us with the hardest kick and piercing over the top melody. Uplifting producers take note. It doesn't do enough though to stand-out as something that I might listen to a few years from now though, probably because the ideas are too basic. This Activa style has a lot to like, but more potential to unlock.
