Should be enough to run most of it.. you’re probably confined to running 1 max 2 heavy vsts in one track though.

But it would allow you to employ the aforementioned
-seperate track
-layer synths
-record to wav and import in your main project

technique

I don't know what else you have running on your PC but if its that slow you might want to 1: clean it up 2: see if the problem is maybe your cooling or something else hardware related.

an i5 gen 10, which is more then SSE2 compatible , should run an average Access Virus clone like say: the Szabo Viper (which is only 112 mb) chat that. 🤷‍♂️

let alone layer two lower tier vst's to bounce a wav.

Musically the ideas here are really good. The melody is nice and I like the chord progression as well.
Production wise it needs a lot of work.

The drums (as mentioned) do sound very 'preset' ish. I think making better choices on what sounds to use is something you should work on.
If you are struggling for good percussion/drum sounds, let me know, I have a ton of sample packs (too many if I'm being honest 😄 ) from the usual Dave Parkinson packs, Activa, Driftmoon, The Thrillseekers. I could grab some bits from some of them into a folder for you if you want?

As for the synths, Sylenth is still a good one, I still use it a lot myself. I'd also look at Vital or Surge which are great free ones (Vital especially)

Stick with it though, as I said, you've got the music/melodies down, which is what a lot of people struggle with, so spend some time on your sound choices and mixing and you'll get there!

Hey there! Thx a lot for you feedback! I'd like to grab some drumpacks))) So, I have to change instruments and drums, right?
