Maybe because he changed it a bit? I listened to it at ASOT last year and another version in a set 2 months later. Liked the ASOT Version more to be honest but maybe he thought the newer version would fit better to FSOE.

EDIT: Just found out that its the ASOT Version which has been played in the stream, thats great news. Cant wait for it but I dont know why its getting released at FSOE instead of Afterdark.

I assume that the reason is legal problems with the publishing house. Many times it was that some of the songs that were going to be released on a family label had a legal problem and were released somewhere else. Perhaps there is a problem here.

I decided it was a better fit for the FSOE sound, bit too much on the uplifting vibe for Afterdark

Oh ok, makes sense Great that you are going to release it, you said on instagram last year that you were still working on it, am really happy that you decided for the ASOT version, thought it would never see a release.

It was just one of those tracks, parts I liked, parts I didn’t, sat in a folder along with 20 other unfinished tunes for some time. Finally came together in the end. Writing music can be weird like that, some tracks take days, others ... well sometimes years lol
