Both are solid, serious trancers, not as good as Mirage, bus still on a quality level :)

Pillars is decent.
seriously, these posts are worse than a negativ rant, should be a minimum of x amount of letters if you want to post.

why bother even writing anything if you're just gonna say that you like it or its nice or a very short sentence with nothing of substance or meaning ?? i dont get the motivation to gointo a thread and write " i like it, its decent, its nice, not my cup etc etc"... a thumbs up is more than enough for that if you're just gonna state your positio/support if you like it or not

Strange that this comment doesn't a contain a detailed opinion on this track, while railing against others for not doing so.

I like the melancholy in White Dwarf a fair bit. Pillars is decent, I didn't rate it much when I heard the EP and it's not jumping out at me now either. I think both tracks are quite solid in context of Borderline releases. But to me, most Borderline releases are structured very similarly. Clean, though almost sterile. Like they went through an Activa filter. It's a shame b/c I want to like so much of it, but the weird/unique tracks are few and far between.

Lol ffs. Getting told off about my comment on my own website, from comment public enemy no1, of all people .

Just leaving a bit of support on a thread of something I enjoy, not always in the mood to explain why or cant find the words. What's the harm? Little bump for the tune, friendly support, let ppl know that my superior standards give seal of approval. Ok ok I did ask you to stop the pointless one word insults on threads, so i'll return the favour.

OUT Today :)

Pillars will go into my playlist. The other one is nice too. But a little too modern-ASOT perhaps.

Yeah, pillar is a surprise. Its pretty well-crafted. Sounds nice to the ears, and I like the sound-design and overall vibe. Good use of counterbalancing with the rhythm of the bassline. Found the outro a bit robotic and generic though. Its not super original, but its decent enough. A well deserved 7/10 from me.

White dwarf I have fewer nice thing to say about. Dont like the robotic steroid thumping rhythm in the first half. Dont like the kick. And dont like the steroid sidechhained typical steroid bassline in the begining. However it does pic up and gets better. Quite decent until the break. I dont like that squared ASOT styled melody. It kinda sounds like Akessons Painting Pyramids a little aswell.

Woah Pillars is super good, how’d I miss this? I thought Sunda - Mirage was really good off Movements but this one might be even better.

Another good contribution from Borderline. To think without this label there would be a huge hole in the scene for this music.

I agree with you on this somewhat. Although I do like some of the releases on Borderline i keep looking out for that one track that's totally different yet still fits the label.

One this one i do like both tracks though 😆
