Can we talk about the comments on Youtube??

Where the hell are these people getting the idea that this is a "peaceful" song? Why does a song with just ~3k views already have 12 comments, with pretty much all of them praising it, the producer, and the video?
because its just that good m8..

Daniel Lesden wrote a small piece on this, saying its only 30 tracks (probably less) to break into that top 100. Top 10 I would guess is less than a 100, maybe 50-60?. The beatport chart is so bad truthfully.

WTF.. God save the vinyl! ... even a unknown deep/dub/tech release with 500 copies is sometimes out of stock in four days on every record shop of the internet.. maybe the trance people just don't really care about the music anymore, and the scene is just about huge events?

They are fake too. Notice how they are overly general. They are bought as well, and can be put under any song. They go with any "piece of music".

Don't be fooled. You can buy any amount of comments, plays, likes, page followers. If you are a grown man with a job, you can easily spend 100 euro on "marketing". It's not that much.

> Purchase your own track 50 times... number 1 on beatport.
> spend 20 to get 1000 instagram followers.
> spend 5 to get 1000 youtube plays.
> spend 5 to get 100 "unique" youtube comments.

Till you think: "This seems legit".

It's extremely obvious... Take the comments on that Youtube-video.

"Person two", account registrered 30 august 2021. Fully empty profile. Saying: "very nice".

"Md Shakil Mia", account registered 30 august 2021. Fully empty profile. Saying: "Your video is very beautiful🥰🥰"

"Ayesha siddika Ziniya", account registered 8 september 2021. Fully empty profile. Saying: "Good music

Also notice how all these accounts are from countries like India/Bangladesh. Not sure why, but those countries handle these fake play-like stuff....

And probably 50-500 euro for a complete track

Yeah, all of the Indian/Middle Eastern profiles commenting were a huge red flag.

It would be an interesting experiment. Spend 1 grand creating a fake Instagram DJ persona using someone else's production (that you bought), pay a random label to release it, pay $50 to become the Beatport #1, and pay for Youtube views and comments.
At the end of the day, though, that's just a waste of money. You could instead spend that 1 grand on nice clothes, vacations nearby, or anything else. There's literally nothing to gain by making a fake DJ persona with fake music, fake followers, fake views, and fake Beatport success.

This Reno thing is his own "label".
That also works. If you have enough money to spend, it might be simpler to just pay a random label and have them release your track. No clue what it takes to create your own label, or if you need to spend money at all.
Oh, one more thing. Pay the artwork artists in "exposure." If they so kindly make the artwork for their tracks for free, the DJ will so generously give you a shout out to their 1,000 followers... which are all fake.

That reminds me of that guy back in the day (around 2006-2007 I think) that stole like AvB, DJ Shah and other trance artists' tracks, put them on his MySpace like they were his (he just changed the title and put his name as the author), and also managed to actually release some of them on some random labels! 🤣
There was a thread in the trance.nu forum.
That was pure genius. Especially using some of the most famous tracks at that moment... like nobody would ever notice 🤣

Now that's straight up theft/copyright violation, lmao
How did the people of trance.nu react?

I might be wrong, and admittedly there is no evidence for it now, but I'm sure I remember a forum post from a disgruntled guy claiming he was the original producer of Sensorica vs Jin Key - Only One (Rave Mix) that had been announced on ISOS4. Anyone else recall that?

I tried to find the thread on the trance.nu forums through the wayback machine, but without a search feature it's quite hard... so many threads! 😁

I remember having discovered the "fact" myself by listening to a release on junodownload and noticing it was "Epos - Vivagio" with a different name. I reached out to the label owner, then while googling I found the trance.nu thread where they were already talking about the guy.
For what I recall the label owners were eventually informed of the fact and withdrew the releases. Not sure if the guy got also some fines or the like.
One of the label owners participated in the thread (I think he was a trance.nu forum member too) and wrote something like "man why this is happening to me!" 🤣🤣

There was a super popular Solomun Remix of 'Pulverturm' and also a Tiesto Remix in last years. I even heard the Solomun version in small bar in my hometown where only commercial and radio music plays all the time, so I think the new versions really pushed up also the original.

A little bit maybe. But Pulverturm is in the top 100 for like a decade. It really is always there. Also before those remixes.

I mean, why would Pulverturm be there, but not.... Rank 1 - Airwave (selected as ASOT Top 1000 tune before), or Armin - Shivers (selected this year). Or other famous ones that are probaby way more famous than Pulverturm.... They are never to be found there. But Pulverturm always is.

And Meet Her At The Love Parade at #93 and #94. That would mean everybody buys both versions. That doesn't make much sense. Surely some people have a favorite and purchase that version.

(For those who don't read the whole thread. The 'label boss' = 'chapter47', so he's talking about himself here)
