I have nothing with DnB myself, but I knew that the deadmau5-Pendulum b2b at Ultra this year was going to be very hype. Woke up at 4:45 this morning to see the set live on YouTube and it did not disappoint, highly recommend 😄

Arkanna - The Unknown (Hedflux Remix)

Arkanna - The Unknown (Hedflux Instrumental Remix)

While this the only track of its genre from the EP, it has a wonderful liquid sound. Both vocal and dub / instrumental versions available, but I'm kind of leaning more towards the vocal in this instance. The other two remixes are neat too, but don't fit this thread.

Not the same genre, but this remix reminds me a bit of Puzzle Pieces.

That's a really nice one above from Mitch. Surprised to see his name in this thread as he was a synthwave guy for a long time. Just pulled up some other recent releases from him and its really nice. The Sol album has some great ambient-spacey, almost blade-runner vibe stuff.

Being English and an old bastard, loved DnB and jungle since finding hardcore and trancekore in my teens.
Not too into the newer stuff, it’s lost the raw essence a rough edges. But….. one of my fav pieces is modern, and think it’s the naughtiest bass I’ve ever heard.

I've been revisiting LTJ Bukems masterpiece 2000 album 'Journey Inwards' recently.
One of those I seem to appreciate more as I get older.

Roni Size & Reprazent put the 'Intelligent DnB/Jazzstep' genre on the map, but LTJ Bukem ran with it and this was the result.
A double album of deep, atmospheric, jazzy drum n bass.

Crisp sounding drums, deep clean sounding basslines, spacious atmosphere and little jazz instrumentation snippets peppered throughout.
It weaves between the straight up jungle inspired head nodders to slower, jazzier breakbeats and funky grooves.

The production is immaculate and still sounds fresh to this day!

Besides Seba and Calibre, Jamie Myerson/JLM Productions is another legend who's still releasing tracks today, but somehow less popular.

Jamie Myerson - Through Open Hands

JLM Productions - Dharma

I’ve literally only listened to two DnB tracks in my entire life, and I love them both:
Most of his tracks are like that.

Another example:

Now that I think about it, that whole album is pretty great and has more examples of melodic DnB.

And then from there it's easy to find similar styles from the same artists:
