So nice! Really amazing to see the Jungle scene take off again. Miles ahead of the Trance scene in terms of resurrecting the older styles in an aunthentic way. Cool to see this label is from South Korea too, the literal other side of the world from where it all began in the UK. Wonder if the producers are also non-british too. Anyway some great tracks in this album, instant buy on bandcamp!

the 'Jungle' revival is here since 2016, check out 'Coco Bryce' or 'Tim Reaper', these are the most popular guys at the moment in the jungle biz

Alright, so yesterday I listened to ASC - The Depths of Space, as was recommended in the voting thread. I was blown away by the entire album. And then just chatted with the gentleman above about DnB, where he sent me some of his recommendations (including the EP above - Desideradi made me cream numerous times). I was even more blown away.
And I'm absolutely certain that DnB will be my go-to genre of 2024, something I'll explore and be mesmerized by it. Trance is something that less and less scratches my itch, it's become sporadic rather than the norm, and my thirst for quality music needs something new.
It's strange, I always thought DnB = dubstep, OR that it's just a random, chaotic collection of kicks, zaps and squelches with no sense behind it. But now, in fact, those seemingly chaotic and fast beats produce a completely opposite effect on me. Sort of calms me down, makes me feel entranced.
I'm just staggered by the genre - the introduction wasn't last night, as the Lone's single or LTJ Bukem's special were among those a year ago - but something in me clicked yesterday and I knew that was it.
