Hardstyle is something I’ve been getting into fairly recently. Fairly as in 2017 at the earliest, but it’s one of my favorite genres now nearly up there with trance.

It all started with Ran-D - Zombie

In Addition, here’s one that’s been one of my recent favorites

Never a big fan of Hardstyle, in fact, 10 years listening to electronic music and I only really got into this:

Funny how people get into different genres in different ways. I was into hardstyle a little while before trance (probably unlike most people on here). I think it was sometime in 2006 or 2007. Meanwhile I got into trance near the end of 2008.

For the last couple of years, I've really been digging every release from D-Block & S-Te-Fan. And yes, i really mean every release. Two of them being these:

The Hardstyle community is pretty decent sized, organized, and does a pretty good job of making lists and videos too. I spent a fair amount of 2019 looking into all the styles and there's a fair amount! Its good for what it does. Like it more than Gabber.
