Nice mixture between Japanese and Western (though the flutes are also prominent in Serbia, and I bet other regions). Fits so well with the movie.

The atmosphere is spot on. What's funny is that I actually love the long pauses and silences to set up the following notes being played. It really creates drama and tension. Very samurai and reminds me of Bushido Blade, an old playstation video game, haha.

What a brilliant game soundtrack that is. Easily one of the best ever made. Lost Ancient Ruins and the Dark World theme will forever echo in my ears. Childhood memories.
