Wowsers matey. 🤘That looks like Fun ! Congrats on the skills dude! My Dutch cousin used to kite surf.

In my home town of Worthing (uk) some geezers (uk kite surf champ and his mate from Worthing itself) kite surfed over the pier once. (Think they got into trouble for it but gained loadsa kudos 🤘) His mate followed him they’d been waiting 2 years for perfect conditions. 50ft jump.

Most people won’t believe what their eyes are seeing. Do you see this kind of thing ever?

Both jumps & also from different camera angle and an interview with the lads.

Sleep & Wakefullness.
-Nueroscientist Andrew Huberman. So worth watching many of this guys videos.

Here is some fascinating revelations on sleep, wakefulness & even the effectiveness of a certain yoga.

As discussed in the video.
So, after waking …delay caffeine for 60 mins - 90 mins.
Soon after waking In-directly look at the sun / or look at it through a cloud 5-9 mins
Do Yoga Nidra (nsdr) at some point during the day.
Jumping jacks / walking during day.
& other tips in the video depending on requirements. Ie - you can align your circadium clock to suit your lifestyle, haven’t tried that part and would be very careful if one did personally.

I did some of this with some measurable effect when I was unable to work for 4 months during my bad phase of long Covid 2 years ago.

We all usually get afternoon energy crashes right? . These tips reduce / or avoid it.

Id not heard of Adenosine before this.
I bet there’s an essential reason it makes us groggy though. It must be useful in sleep ? Maybe helps keep our body still during sleep?

yas! siiick 🤙🤙

ya regularly, they always jump over us and we respond with forward-killer-loops they can't do/ are to sissy to attempt
As a windsurfer at heart, I love the sportsman-banter we always have with the kite-lads. plus they come in really handy when doing rescues at sea as they have an extra line they can tow with.

Also we have the redbull King-of-the_air event in NL, and i'm a big fan of Ruben Lenten.

I don't nearly Kite enough myself actually. I own a 9m2 and a 6m2, but both of those are storm kites and whenever it blows above 24bft i almost always pick the windsurf gear, just jives with me better. Thinkin of selling those and getting a new 12 or 14m2 at that. That way when its windsurf-floaty weather I can do some jumping. Lately the wingfoils have been popping up like massive, creating a whole new scene.

good times on the water.

Rumors of another crisis in IT, but also in my company. Just 4 months ago it was all butterflies. Is this what I have to look forward to all my life, yearly instability and "will I keep my job?" thoughts?

Sometimes I wonder if I should've just farmed land or learned some manual skills - less of a chance someone halfway across the world can get my job. There's never a shortage of food or shit that needs fixing.

Live & magical Trance. Absolutely blew my mind. This video is from Berlin.

Meanwhile last night in Brighton

- I went down my electronic performance music club for the first time in 18 months. People come along and play live gear. Some are organised and featured on the poster. 2 guests can turn up and play. There were performers that were not too different to this guy from the video . Hidden genius’s of electronica. Inspiring .
Today I’ve Been noodling on my gear in a different way and hope to get something together again for a live set in a month or two. It’s been far too long.

Feeling like an idiot. Missed the job interview I had been waiting from a week ago just because I forgot about the different time zone 😩
Sent a follow up email, I hope there's still chance for reschedule.
