I wouldn't call any of William Orbit's stuff trance really, but the original mix is equally deserving of a place in this thread. A big classic in the world of early ambient house/electronica:



The two mixes up top ^ are by Spooky, AKA Charlie May (Sasha's producer). William Orbit and Spooky produced a remix together for Sven Vath's Accident In Paradise, and Sasha and Charlie May provided several remixes for Madonna while Orbit was her producer.

Water From A Vine Leaf isn't a million miles away from Orbit's 1990 hit under the alias Bass-O-Matic - Fascinating Rhythm:

Imo there is a slice of Trance in those Spooky versions, nevermind...Original 'edit' was never really mine.. was the single commercialy successful in the UK?
