This is one of the very first good productions that fulfill the artistic, stylistic, and structural criteria of what most people associate with trance music. Just my personal guess, but considering the general influences of movies/movie soundtracks on the genre, the title No Fate was probably a nod to Terminator 2, which was released in the same year, 1991. No Fate was not just one of the first releases on the legendary Eye Q label, but their first major hit too, and it was rereleased and remixed a few times since then, most notably by Santini & Stephenson in 1997, when they made - in my opinion - the definitive version of this track.
